So, this past week, I saw Katy Perry's: Part of Me 3-D glasses, and pre-gaming with delish pink liquer and all:) I LOVED it! She is such an inspiration... not only that she kept going after her dream through all of the doors slammed in her face, but also that she kept her tour up through her whole Russell Brand trist:( Dear Katy, I love you, but WHY WOULD YOU DO IT?!?! Please, leave comments saying whether or not YOU thought that they would make it...

First of all, the first time I heard the song on the Billboard Music Awards, I was in love. I wasn't really a fan of "Part of Me," as I felt it was very rushed track much like Gaga's "Born This Way." But this song kept Katy's great sense of a hook along with her witty lyrics and a LOT of heart (covered in glitter of course). BUT THE VIDEO, MA'AM! Oh Miss Perry, one of my favorite videos of hers ever.
The story goes that she is on tour and has a melancholy moment behind the scenes, and then she is in this Tim Burton fairy tale world. Then her inner child comes out and kicks some ass so that Katy realizes who she is. I love that this video keeps her quirky sense of humor in tact, but at the same time shows her darker more mature side. Bravo, ma'am, bravo:)
